The Fitness Challenge Foundation has taken the initial step towards getting our nation's children in better shape. The not-for-profit organization has partnered with the California State University system to implement a first of its kind initiative that will provide physical activities programs for elementary schools. This innovative model is already being considered by numerous other states who want to replicate the program.

Burgerville will get the approximately 600,000 eggs it uses each year from Washington's Stiebrs Farms whose chickens are certified "Humane Raised and Handled," fed a 100 percent vegetarian diet, and are free of hormones and antibiotics.

For the second year in a row, a survey from TSC, a division of Yankelovich reports that at any one time almost 2/3rds of Americans are on a diet. The survey reveals that two in three people admit that hunger causes them to cheat on their diet, and in fact a majority of dieters (56%) feel there are times when they are "starving themselves to death."
