MTV: Music Television today announced that it will present "Spankin' New Music Week: A-List Playlists" across all of its channels including MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV.com and Urge from Monday, February 5 through Friday, February 9 starting on "Total Request Live" at 3:30pm-4:30pm ET/PT. Hosted by MTV VJs Damien Fahey, Vanessa Minnillo, Stephen Colletti and Susie Castillo, this week of special programming will celebrate A-List artists' favorite music and offers fans a preview of the best new music from the hottest artists out today. A-List artists will visit "TRL" and share their favorite video playlist. One chosen playlist will be played on-air each day.

MTV and Verizon Wireless today announced a new event series titled "MTV Live" which will feature live artist performances from some of the biggest names in music. The monthly series will be recorded in front of a live audience at the Hard Rock Cafe NY in Times Square and will be presented as a multi-platform program across MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Tr3s, MTV.com and on MTV Mobile on V CAST. "MTV Live" will be powered by Verizon Wireless and the first episode will premiere on MTV on February 6 at 11:30pm with a commercial free performance by Fall Out Boy. Artists Nas, Akon, and Gym Class Heroes have been booked for future shows.

Si TV, America's first cable network for young Latinos in English, has launched on Time Warner Cable's North Texas digital lineup the company announced today. "We are delighted that Si TV is now available in North Texas, a top Hispanic DMA and influential center for media and advertising," said Rori Peters, SVP of affiliate sales for Si TV. "We are confident that our high- quality programming will provide Time Warner Cable customers an entertaining and unique reflection of the breadth and depth of the Latino culture."

TiVo, the creator of and leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), today announced that it has signed Music Choice, the country's leader in music-related content, to deliver its wide-ranging catalog of music videos and its original programming via broadband to the television through the TiVoCast service. The service will be available later this year to TiVo(R) subscribers with broadband connected TiVo Series2(TM) and Series3(TM) boxes.
